Executive Summary:

Google owns a monopolistic position in the e-tech world by providing web searches which make it the only company earning the majority of its revenues from advertisements rather than sales. Google has always been inclined to increase the spectrum of its operations even at the cost of riskier and less reliable investments. With the increasing internet users, the monopolistic position of Google is further strengthened as a result of greater demand for its services. Furthermore, due to established brand name and brand committed loyal consumers, it is very challenging for the competitors to replace Google. But the tech nature of this industry which makes it more volatile fosters serious threats for Google from its competitors who can develop more advanced search algorithms using the advanced technology. While maintaining its competitive position in its core business, Google is also investing in the diversification of its base portfolio, which brings Google car as the new target for Google. Google car is considered to be more advanced than the need of time, but its realization can earn such profits which Google has never seen before. Hence, by capitalizing on its existing strengths, Google should formulate this automated car technology before its competitors. The success of this venture can certainly increase profit margins for Google while reducing its dependency on its advertisement programs.

Starting from the web search while moving towards the Android and online advertisement services, Google has now reached to hardware modulation.

……

PEST Analysis:

Political:

While driving through the tech industry Google has to face serious legal interventions along with the political involvements for its neophyte business tactics which no one has experienced before. The nature of Google’s existence makes it vulnerable to be affected by the political implications, as of the fact that Google’s monopoly in leading the web search industry has ignited many political oppositions creating anti-trust campaigns. Moreover, Google car has to face litigation in many states for its test drives; hence, it is neophyte nature of Google’s operation which leads to any political or legal resistances.

…….

Underlying Symptoms & Problem Statement:

As it lies with the core competencies, Google always has preferred investment in high-tech products for capitalizing benefits from its monopolistic position. Google has now been working for the driverless car technology which has never been ever created before and which has the potential to change the face of this world. Google car can bring most compatible user experiences for the automobiles even by empowering the blind and physically challenged persons.
