Timberjack has been the world’s leading manufacturer of the heavy equipment with the market share of 25% and sales of USD 627 million with the net profit of USD 88 Million in 1995. Currently, the company has two operating centers, the parent in Atlanta while sister parts operations in Sweden. While the company is facing a peculiar situation of selecting a packaged software from an excellent wholesaler for both the operational center to realize integrated operations in the long-run. But the team formulated for this task has members from both the divisions and hence fail to come at one uniform point for selecting the vendor of packaged software.
